My experience over the past decade and more has shown that many advanced second-language users of English are not well served beyond the language schools and undergraduate courses. Many professionals, especially academics, may have a strong command of the English language, but have further needs tangential to the use of English that language schools tend not to address. For example, the move away from lectures, textbooks and examinations towards continuously assessed guided project work, for the last thirty years acknowledged as far more effective at engendering comprehensive language competence, transforms both teacher and student, making the teaching/learning experience rewarding for both. In this I specialise, and I am ready to give you the benefit of my experience. I respond to your biggest need in the moment and adapt to ensure that you gain the most English most rapidly.

Non-native speakers of English who wish to increase their proficiency beyond CEFR C1 or equivalent have very individual needs. Together, we work out a programme specifically for you, which we change and adapt as the need arises. My aim is for you to reach your language objectives. This is not the same as 1-2-1 access to a set programme. I have no set programmes or pre-packaged products. What you learn is unique to you.
